Our Ministries: Opportunities to Meet Your Spiritual Needs

Our church offers a wide range of ministries to meet the needs of every family. We believe everyone needs to learn about the Bible, which is God's Word to man, so that we can be in right relationship to God and to other people. In every ministry of our church, the Bible is read, explained and applied to everyday life.

Worship Services

We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 11:15 A.M. and 7 P.M. Every service is marked by good, God-honoring music in congregational singing and from our choir. The Bible is opened and explained in every service, so that everyone can understand God's plan of Salvation and know how to live as as a believer in Jesus Christ. While we worship together as families, we also provide a junior church and nursery for every service.

Prayer Meeting

While many churches have combined ministries in a mid-week service, we continue to hold a regular prayer meeting, every Wednesday evening at 7:30 P.M. We believe that God hears and answers prayer, and so we engage in a brief study of the Scriptures and devote the balance of the evening to prayer in groups of men, women and young people.

Sunday Adult Bible Study and Children's Sunday School

We have a Bible study for adults and Sunday School classes for every age, every Sunday at 10 A.M. The Bible studies and Sunday School classes afford an opportunity to learn God's Word in an informal setting with other students who are similar in age and interests.

Children's Ministries

Our church also provides a range of children's ministries from Nursery and Junior Church during Sunday Worship services to Bible ExplorersClub on Friday nights from 7 to 8:30 P.M. for children in grades 3 through7, September through May.

Ladies' Bible Studies

Mrs. Donna Dear conducts Bible studies for women from September through May, on the first Tuesday evening at 7:30 P.M. Women of all ages, both from the church and neighborhood are welcome to attend.

Retirement Home Chapel Ministry

Pastor Dear conducts a chapel service at the Philadelphia Protetant Home on the first Tuesday of every month, at 9 A.M.. This ministry is open to all residents, family members and staff.
